Overview

Curbside equipment rarely has a spare outlet. EV chargers, parking pay stations, pole-mounted cameras and traffic signal cabinets need connectivity where power is limited and a technician visit is expensive.

The Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G combines one 5G modem with dual SIM slots, a 2.5G Ethernet WAN, two gigabit LAN ports and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. It accepts 802.3at PoE input, so one cable carries both power and data, and it also runs from 10V to 30V DC or an AC adapter.

The metal enclosure is rated -40 to 65 °C with surge and ESD protection on the ports. The router is certified for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and FirstNet, includes GPS, and provides 8GB of storage for Docker applications at the edge.
