Overview

Live broadcasts, incident response and large public events share one problem: thousands of people and devices crowd the same cell sites at the same moment. A single cellular link, or even two, can saturate right when the video feed or command traffic matters most.

The Peplink MAX HD4 MBX 5G carries four 5G modems and eight SIM slots, eleven gigabit Ethernet ports configurable as up to three WANs, and up to eight 802.3at PoE+ ports on dual 54V inputs. Router throughput reaches 2.5 Gbps, with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and GPS.

SpeedFusion hot failover and bonding combine all four cellular paths into one connection, and high availability pairing keeps a backup unit ready. The metal enclosure is rated -40 to 65 °C for broadcast trucks, incident units and search and rescue staging.
