Overview

Live video from a news crew, a public safety unit or a field inspection team fails when one carrier thins out. The camera operator cannot stop to fix a link.

The Peplink SpeedFusion Engine Cam mounts between the camera and its battery on a V-Mount or Anton Bauer Gold Mount plate, with two LTE-A modems, redundant SIM slots and antennas built into the housing. SpeedFusion bonds both carriers into one stream with WAN smoothing and forward error correction for packet loss.

It works with FusionSIM and SIM Injector for remote SIM management, and EssentialCare plans cover InControl, firmware and replacement. Peplink has not published a full datasheet for this unit, so port-level specs are limited to what its announcement states.
