Overview

Paratransit vans, public works trucks, harbor patrol boats and campus shuttles need dual-carrier connectivity but rarely have room for a full-size router. The equipment on board still needs power, Wi-Fi and a connection that survives dead zones on the route.

The Peplink MBX Mini 5G fits two 5G modems and four SIM slots into a compact metal chassis, with two gigabit Ethernet WANs, four gigabit LAN ports, USB WAN, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and PoE+ output. Router throughput reaches 2.5 Gbps.

SpeedFusion bonding across both modems, GPS and a -40 to 65 °C operating range let the same unit move from a vehicle to a pop-up testing site when a fleet is redeployed.
