Overview

A broadcast truck or command vehicle at a crowded scene needs bandwidth from more than one carrier at once, and power for the cameras and radios on board.

The Peplink MAX HD4 MBX carries four LTE-A CAT-20 modems with eight mini-SIM slots at up to 2 Gbps downlink each, three gigabit Ethernet WANs, nine gigabit LAN ports with up to eight 802.3at PoE+ outputs, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and GPS. Routing is 2.5 Gbps with 600 Mbps of SpeedFusion for 50 to 500 users.

It runs from 12V to 56V DC or the included 54V supply, rated -40 to 65 °C in a 3.3 kg metal chassis. The cellular module is swappable, so the unit can move to 5G later with the HD4 MBX 5G Expansion Module. Peplink lists the HD4 MBX line on its FirstNet page.
