Overview

Putting a router outdoors usually means an enclosure, an external antenna, a cable run and three points of water ingress.

The Peplink Antenna MAX houses the router inside a UV-stable polycarbonate dome with four cellular elements covering 617 to 6000 MHz at up to 6.6 dBi, two dual-band Wi-Fi elements at up to 7.4 dBi and an active GPS element, all connected internally. It measures 250 mm across and 120 mm tall, rated -40 to 80 °C, with an L-mount set, cable glands and an adhesive pad in the box.

Peplink lists the BR1 Mini series, Transit Duo Pro, BR1 Pro 5G and CAT-20, MAX Adapter series and AP One Rugged as compatible. Routers without PoE input need the Splitter MAX.
