Overview

Small unattended sites need a router that fits in a cabinet, takes PoE or DC, and comes in the exact form the site needs: with or without Wi-Fi, with a serial port, or for another region.

The Peplink MAX BR1 Mini carries one LTE modem with redundant nano-SIM slots, eSIM support, up to three gigabit Ethernet ports with one convertible to WAN, and 802.3at PoE input. Routing is 300 Mbps for 1 to 60 users. The standard model adds dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and GPS; the Core model removes both; the LTE-A model runs CAT-7 at 300 Mbps downlink; the DC model adds terminal-block power; the M2M model adds a 9-pin serial port; the MX model covers Latin America.

All run from 10V to 30V DC, PoE or the included adapter, rated -40 to 65 °C in a 430-gram metal chassis. The US models are certified for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and FirstNet.
