Overview

Public safety sites and the commercial branches around them often end up on different hardware, different carriers and different support contracts. Emergency operations centers, municipal buildings, clinics and utility field sites all need the same thing: a connection that keeps routing when a wired provider fails.

The Peplink Balance 310X 5G carries a FirstNet Capable embedded 5G modem with redundant SIM slots, two gigabit Ethernet WANs, two USB ports and nine gigabit LAN ports. Router throughput reaches 2.5 Gbps for 50 to 500 users, with SpeedFusion available for up to 30 peers by license.

A 12V to 30V DC power input and a -40 to 65 °C operating range let it run in field cabinets and construction offices as well as the server room, so one platform can cover the agency and its commercial sites.
