Peplink routers with a GPS port report vehicle location to InControl 2 through an active GPS antenna connected to the router's SMA GPS connector. This magnetic GPS antenna mounts on any steel surface, a vehicle roof or hood or a cabinet top, without drilling, and runs a 15 ft cable to the router. It is rated for outdoor mounting and performs best on a metal ground plane of eight inches or more, which a vehicle roof provides.
Order it for fleet routers that track location, such as the MAX BR1 Pro 5G, MAX BR2 Pro, and MAX Transit series, or as the replacement GPS antenna for a router whose original lead was damaged.
