Overview

Seasonal retail, ticket booths, parks facilities, small municipal field offices and outreach vans need a local network as well as an uplink. A consumer hotspot is not built for daily enterprise use, and a full branch router is more than these sites need.

The Peplink MAX BR1 Mini 5G pairs one 5G modem with dual-band Wi-Fi in a fanless, ventless metal case certified for shock and vibration. An Ethernet port serves a local device or converts to a wired WAN, with router throughput up to 300 Mbps.

It supports 5G in NSA and SA modes across a wide set of bands, and certification for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and FirstNet lets a municipality standardize on one unit for every small site.
