Overview

Vending machines, ATMs, SCADA panels, smart meters and fare gates do not need Wi-Fi. They need a small, durable cellular link that keeps transactions and telemetry flowing and can be reached remotely when something goes wrong.

The Peplink MAX BR1 Mini 5G without Wi-Fi carries one 5G modem supporting NSA and SA modes in a fanless, ventless metal case certified for shock and vibration. An Ethernet LAN port connects the machine and can be converted to a wired WAN when a line is available.

It is certified for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and FirstNet, supports private 5G networks, and includes InTouch out-of-band access so a remote team can reach the device without a site visit.
