Overview

Plenty of sites already run a router they trust on a wired line that works most of the time. What they lack is a second path that does not share the same cable in the ground, and a spot inside the building where cellular signal actually reaches. Warehouses, parking garages and transit depots are the usual examples.

The Peplink 5G Cellular Adapter adds that path without touching the core network. It connects to the existing router over one 2.5G Ethernet cable, draws power from the same cable through 802.3at PoE, and carries four SMA cellular connectors plus a GPS connector.

With 5G and CAT-19 LTE, nano-SIM, eSIM and FusionSIM options, and a -40 to 65 °C operating range, it can be placed where coverage is strongest while the router stays where it is.
