Overview

Headquarters, network operations centers and hospital campuses often run a modular Peplink chassis that was sized for wired circuits first. Adding cellular later should not mean replacing the router that already carries the whole site.

The Peplink FlexModule Plus 2x 5G installs in the FlexModule Plus slot of an EPX or Balance SDX and adds two embedded 5G modems to the chassis. With the module in place, the router supports up to eight SIM slots across its cellular paths.

The result is two additional carrier paths managed by the router already in the rack, available to the same failover and bonding policies the site uses for its wired links.
