Overview

A modular Peplink core router sometimes needs more powered ports than a separate switch is worth.

The Peplink EXM-8C adds eight gigabit Ethernet ports with 802.3at PoE+ output to an EPX, Balance SDX or SDX Pro, up to 30W per port on a 240W budget. It occupies one FlexModule Plus slot, weighs 475 g and measures 103 x 188 x 38 mm.

Peplink notes the HW2 version requires an SDX on HW4 or later and is not compatible with EPX FlexModule slot 2. EssentialCare plans cover the module.
