Overview

An HD4 MBX bought with LTE modems does not have to be replaced when 5G becomes the standard on the fleet.

The Peplink HD4 MBX 5G Expansion Module swaps into the chassis with four 5G modems and redundant SIM slots, rated 4.1 Gbps downlink and 900 Mbps uplink on 5G, 2 Gbps on LTE CAT-20. It weighs 1 kg and measures 22 x 292 x 88 mm.

Three modem models are offered: 5GH, 5GK for North America on the X65 chipset, and 5GN for global NSA and SA. EssentialCare plans cover the module separately from the router.
