Overview

Small vehicles, kiosks, utility cabinets and IoT sites that need 5G from a router small enough to fit the space run the Ericsson Cradlepoint R980. It is a compact 5G router for vehicles and IoT that carries the same NetCloud management, SD-WAN and security as the larger R-series in a smaller footprint.

5G in a Compact Footprint

  • Enterprise 5G cellular in a form factor for space-constrained vehicles and IoT enclosures
  • Critical traffic prioritized and isolated so mission-critical services take precedence
  • Remote carrier switching and failover between connections

Security and Edge Applications

  • Zero Trust security and SD-WAN built in
  • Extensible at the edge: run and tailor applications close to where data is created
  • Public safety and private network ready
