Overview

Many sites already run a router they are not replacing. What they lack is a cellular path that plugs into it without a forklift.

The Peplink MAX Adapter comes in two forms. The CAT-4 model for North America connects over two gigabit Ethernet ports or USB-C, with integrated GPS, GPIO, a nano-SIM slot plus built-in eSIM, and runs from 9V to 36V DC, USB-C or the included adapter, rated -30 to 65 °C. The CAT-12 Global model is a USB-C modem with redundant SIM slots and eSIM, 600 Mbps downlink, rated 0 to 40 °C.

Both carry Peplink care plans and InControl management, and the CAT-4 model is certified for AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and FirstNet.
