Ericsson Cradlepoint AP2600 Wi-Fi 6 Access Point

Branch offices, clinics, retail sites and municipal locations that already run an Ericsson Cradlepoint router need Wi-Fi that joins the same network without a second controller, console or support contract. The Ericsson Cradlepoint AP2600 is a Wi-Fi 6 access point with 2x2 MU-MIMO radios, WPA3 and built-in Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee that is configured, monitored and troubleshot from NetCloud Manager alongside the router at the site.

One NetCloud Console for Router and Wi-Fi

The AP2600 appears in the same NetCloud Manager view as the Cradlepoint router, so a LAN extension is a configuration task rather than a project. Procurement, deployment, maintenance and support stay with a single vendor across the branch stack.

Separate Networks for Guests, Staff and IoT

• Dedicated WPA3-encrypted networks keep customer, staff and point-of-sale traffic apart
• Bluetooth Low Energy and Zigbee radios onboard IoT and sensor clients without a separate gateway
• 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 radios rated up to 3 Gbps

PoE Power and Battery Backup Option

The unit is powered over Ethernet from a PoE switch or the 30 W 802.3at injector (part 170877-000, sold separately); no power supply ships in the box. An optional battery backup is available for sites that want the access point on its own power source.

NetCloud Subscription and Terms

The AP2600 is sold with the required NetCloud Subscription and Warranty on the Wi-Fi AP Essentials plan, in 1, 3 or 5 year terms. A TAA option is available for public-sector procurement.
