Overview

Sites that run more than one satellite terminal, or satellite alongside cellular and wired lines, need somewhere to bond them and power them. Each terminal is its own WAN with its own outage pattern.

The Peplink MAX Orbit 8 has eight 2.5G Orbit Ports with 802.3at PoE+ output on a 240W budget, so Starlink and OneWeb terminals draw power from the router that bonds them. A 10G SFP+ port, two USB-C WANs, Wi-Fi 7 and GPS round out the unit, with 4 Gbps of routing and 1 Gbps of SpeedFusion for 50 to 500 users.

It runs on dual 54V DIN inputs, the included 54V supply or 12V to 54V DC, rated -40 to 65 °C, with 8GB of storage for Docker and an ear rack mount kit in the box.
